Cancellation Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all patients, we have created a clear policy for cancellations, no-shows, and late arrivals.

Cancellations

24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else who needs care to see us. If you are unable to provide 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged a fee of $50 to help offset the cost of that appointment. This amount must be paid prior to rescheduling your next appointment.

About the Fee

When you have an appointment with us, your doctor, our support staff, treatment room, and equipment are all reserved exclusively for you during that time. Because of this, and in fairness to our other patients, we charge a fee to offset some of those costs.

No-Shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show" and will be charged a $50 fee to offset the unavoidable costs of that missed appointment. This amount must be paid prior to rescheduling your next appointment. Patients who repeatedly miss appointments will not be rescheduled.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, we will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. If you are simply too late for us to see you, it will be treated as a no-show (see above). Out of respect and consideration for our staff, other patients, and especially yourself (you deserve care!) please plan accordingly and be on time. We suggest you arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment to ensure that you have time to check in.

Illness

In this case, sharing is not caring! If you are sick or contagious, please reschedule your appointment for another time. For the wellness of all of our patients, we must decline treatment to anyone who arrives to an appointment sick. Arriving to an appointment sick will be treated as a no-show (see above).
