New Patient FAQ
Q : How do I prepare for my first visit?
A : Once you’ve filled out the new patient paperwork online through our HIPAA-secure forms, we will be happy to get you scheduled. New patient forms and other helpful information are located on our First Visit page.
Q : Do you offer tooth whitening?
A : Yes! We offer a safe, effective whitening system that you can use right at home. We begin by performing a full digital scan of your mouth, then we work with you to create a treatment plan to achieve your desired results. Your fully personalized Philips Zoom whitening kit is then fabricated and shipped directly to you.
Q : Do you recommend using an electric toothbrush?
A : Yes. In our opinion, Philips Sonicare is the best electric toothbrush on the market for maintaining tooth and gum health. For your convenience, we sell their top-of-the-line toothbrushes and replacement heads right in our office.
Q : At what age should my child have their first dental visit?
A : Children should have their first dental exam and cleaning between the ages of one and three or earlier if concerns present themselves.
Q : What payment methods do you accept?
A : We accept cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards. We also accept a wide range of insurance plans. Learn more on our Payment and Insurance page.
Q : What if I need to cancel my appointment?
A : Please call the office as soon as you can to cancel your appointment. 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else who needs care to see us.
If you do not provide 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged a $50 fee to offset some of the cost of the missed appointment. This amount must be paid prior to rescheduling your next appointment. You may view our full cancellation policy to learn more about this fee.
Q : I have a cold. Can I still come to my appointment?
A : In this case, sharing is not caring! If you are sick or contagious, please reschedule your appointment for another time. For the wellness of all of our patients, we must decline treatment to anyone who arrives to an appointment sick.
Arriving to an appointment sick will be treated as a no-show. We ask that you please respect this rule for the safety of our patients and staff.
